"I do anything that Weston Playhouse asks me to do because I have a huge crush on the theatre." - Joe Iconis

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

"My writing partner Melissa Li and I went to Weston last year during the summer for a writing residency and had a productive, inspired, and ridi- culously fun time. We worked on our new musicals, and shared our work with the community, in addition to witnessing the fantastic performances of the season. When we were not at the theater, we were jumping into the lake at Buttermilk Falls, filling up on samples and buying snax at the Country Store, and having important conversations about art. Weston is one of my favorite places I have ever worked and I miss it very much." - Kit Yan

"We have very fond memories of the Weston Playhouse, since our last pre-pandemic project was working on our musical HALF THE SKY as the recipients of the Weston-Ghostlight New Musical Award. The cast and team really bonded in Weston, particularly over the delicious home- cooked meals provided by the board!" - Isabella Dawis & Tidtaya Sinutoke

"Weston Playhouse is one of our dearest connections. It’s the theatre that gave us our first professional production, an experience both of us cherish, and we’ve enjoyed every trip back since, whether to partake in a writers retreat or just see the latest show being performed. We feel so lucky to think of Weston as an artistic home, and are overjoyed whenever we have a chance to collaborate with the inspiring and supportive community there." - Gordon Leary & Julia Meinwald
