SETH ELISER (John R.) Well, if you’re reading this, theatre is back! Seth is thankful to be back at Weston Playhouse once again! You might recognize him from Weston’s productions of Pump Boys and Dinettes, Once , and a handful of Joe Iconis concerts over the years. Over the course of the pandemic, you may have caught performances of Allie+Seth sharing their music all over Vermont. Seth would like to thank Weston, his Louisiana & NJ family, and Allie for their continued support.

MICHAEL HICKS (Marshall/Music Director) is ecstatic about making theatre again and making it with the Weston Playhouse, his 35th production here. He’s done Ring of Fire at Deutsches Theater (Munich), Vienna’s English Theatre, Capital Rep, People’s Light, Ivoryton Playhouse, Merry-Go- Round Playhouse, and Flat Rock Playhouse. Michael wrote the score for Plan B (book by Michael Barakiva and Emily Mikesell) and spent last year teaching at Stephens College and Molloy College.

MEGUMI NAKAMURA (June Carter) is so happy to be back at Weston for her fourth summer. Some of her Weston credits include The Mute ( The Fantasticks ), Rosalia ( West Side Story ), Diana ( Anne of Green Gables ), and Zaneeta Shinn ( The Music Man ). Television credits include Evil (CBS) and High Maintenance (HBO). She would like to thank the Weston community for continuing to create a space for artists like herself to come and perform.

DOROTHY STANLEY (June Carter Cash/Mother) is thrilled to honor the “man in black’s” music, and glad this talented “over the moon” cast will help pull this “over the hill” gal through Mr. Cash’s many lyrics! :) She’s grateful Susanna asked her to return to where she began her theatrical career in &#@%. After over 140 Broadway (Statewide & International), Regional, and Summer Stock Productions, she’s overjoyed to perform in Ring of Fire , another Instrumental Musical ( Once in 2017), “back home” in Weston.
